Please note: Submission and acceptance of this agreement without change is required before Pet Sitter service can proceed. Thank you.

Pet Sitter is a registered trading name and is owned by Aussie Pet Sitter P/L. Pet Sitter will provide pet sitting services upon receipt of a Pet Owner Agreement submission and will use the information outlined in the accompanying order form for the period specified. Aussie Pet Sitter P/L has public liability and work cover insurance, employs a veterinary nurse and trained staff with police checks. Pet Sitter is committed to providing high quality care for your pet or pets.

In consideration of Pet Sitter providing the services in accordance with this agreement: I authorize an employee of Aussie Pet Sitter P/L to enter my home or property at any time between the hours of 6am and 8pm daily to carry out my instructions as to the care of my pet or pets during the period while I am absent. If applicable: In the event that a problem or question arises concerning my pet care, I authorize an employee of Aussie Pet Sitter P/L to contact me using my home phone and accept full responsibility for charges incurred. I agree to access my supplied contact phone and check for contact request messages from employees of Aussie Pet Sitter P/L on a daily basis.

If applicable: I authorize Pet Sitter to employ the services of a locksmith in the event that entry to my premises is compromised (Pet Sitter staff pay for locksmith services if at fault) and accept full responsibility for any damage to locks or doors that may occur during the process of gaining access to premises. If an alarm system is present at my premises, I accept full responsibility and consequences in the event that an Aussie Pet Sitter P/L employee does not arm the alarm system correctly and for all costs associated with a security guard from an alarm monitoring company attending my premises should the alarm system be activated.

Pet Sitter staff employ every precaution possible to prevent pet escape, however I accept full responsibility in the event of pet escape. If when attending to the pets at my premises an Aussie Pet Sitter P/L employee finds other pets that are not listed on the booking form, I authorise Pet Sitter to debit my credit card without notification for the appropriate charges to cover care for these pets for the period I am absent. If I have informed Pet Sitter prior to departure that other pets at my premises do not require care because an alternate arrangement is in place, I accept full responsibility for the pet care covered by the arrangement and absolve Pet Sitter of all responsibility for the pet care and any resulting damage incurred to my premises as a result.

I accept full responsibility for any damage incurred to carpet, flooring, bedding, furniture, ornaments, curtains, window or door furnishings, gardens and lawns or to any other area inside or outside my home in the event that my pets urinate, defecate, vomit, chew, scratch, shred, knock over, dig or cause damage by any other method during my absence. Pet Sitter recommends pet owners check that have home building and contents insurance cover. I authorize Pet Sitter to purchase additional pet food, kitty litter or other supplies without prior notice in the event that supplies are exhausted during my absence and charge my credit card without prior notification at any time during my absence.

I agree to supply premises keys if I own a nervous dog or suspect breed. I agree to supply premises keys to reach our office by the deadline listed in the booking confirmation E-mail by dropping off to our office, requesting a key pick up from a workplace address (additional charges apply) or by sending via express post. Where to drop off or send keys is listed in the booking confirmation E-mail. Please note sending keys via normal mail is not accepted. A non - refundable administration fee is automatically charged if keys are not received by the listed deadline.

I authorize Pet Sitter to attend my nominated veterinarian or a veterinarian of Pet Sitter's choice without prior notification, if my pet is injured or ill or in Pet Sitter's absolute opinion requires professional veterinary attention. I authorize Aussie Pet Sitter P/L to supply my credit card details to my nominated veterinarian or Pet Sitter's choice of veterinarian in order to settle any outstanding veterinary service fees. I authorize Aussie Pet Sitter P/L to debit my credit card for pet transportation fees to and from the veterinary hospital if required without prior notification.

For your pets protection veterinarians and Pet Sitter advise that your pet or pets have appropriate vaccination cover according to current veterinary recommendations. Should my pets not have appropriate cover and I engage Pet Sitter services I do so at my own risk. I authorize Aussie Pet Sitter P/L to debit my credit card for any fees or transport costs if the government pound impounds my pet. I acknowledge that I use the services of Pet Sitter at my own risk.

Pet Sitter service is subject to a non - refundable cancellation fee of 50% calculated on the total cost of services cancelled. Please note that cancellation fees are applicable and immediately applied from the time of booking placement. Refunds less the 50% cancellation fee are processed back to credit cards for Mastercard and Visa card payments and by company cheque sent by post for American Express and Diners Club card payments. Under no circumstances will a refund be paid for a pet care call that is already made to a premises or if less than 24 hours notice is given for a pet care call cancellation. In the event of an extension of service other than set out in the resulting order form, I authorize Aussie Pet Sitter P/L to debit my credit card accordingly.

Payment for Pet Sitter service is settled at the time of booking placement. Aussie Pet Sitter P/L predominately accepts credit card payment for Pet Sitter services, however cash or money order payment is available for pet owners who do not own a credit card on a limited basis. Please contact us for further details before placing a booking. All other forms of payment including cheque and internet transfer or payment left at a premises is not available.
