Online
Booking Process
The online booking
process contains five parts: Booking Guide,
Booking Availability, Pet Owner Agreement,
Order Form (Secure), and Payment
(Secure). Payment details must be
received for booking to be processed.
Payments are not connected to an online
"real time" payment system with
payments being processed manually after
receipt.
Please always wait
for E-mail confirmation of your online
booking before departure. Please phone us
1300 306 507 should your booking not be
confirmed within 24 hours*.
*Online bookings
placed after 2pm on Fridays may not be
processed until Monday
Pet Owner
Agreement (POA)
All Pet Sitter
bookings are subject to agreement with the
service conditions contained in the company
POA. The POA is incorporated as part of the
online booking process.
Premises
Keys
Please note keys
left outside a premises for collection is not
permitted
Premises keys must
be supplied if you own a nervous dog or
suspect breed.
Please supply keys
to reach our office by the deadline listed in
the booking confirmation E-mail sent after
booking processing.
Once Daily
Pet Care
When once daily pet
care is required please record the dates
inclusive for us to call in the field
"Dates to Call" on the order form
(please do not select anything in the
"Twice Daily Calls" field).
Twice Daily
Pet Care
When twice daily pet
care is required please record the dates
inclusive for us to call in the field
"Dates to Call" and also select AM
or PM to "Start" (when pet care is
to begin) and AM or PM to "End"
(when pet care is to finish) in the
"Twice Daily Calls" field on the
order form.
Booking
Dates
Booking dates for
pet feeding calls must be consecutive and at
least once daily. Should we be unavailable
for some of the booking dates required, we
will process the booking for the next
available consecutive date period.
Extra Pets
Please list all pets
at your premises on the order form including
small pets such as fish, birds, rabbits,
guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, mice, lizards etc
and indicate in the notes if any of the pets
have an alternate care arrangement in place
eg feeding block in tank, friends or
neighbors providing care. Pets such as
rabbits and guinea pigs who are contained in
a hutch automatically require us to provide
our hutch cleaning service, a minimum of once
every 2nd day. If unlisted pets are found at
a premises extra charges automatically apply.
Security
Alarm Codes
Please record
security alarm codes on order form if
required for every booking as the codes are
not stored for future bookings for security
reasons.
Fees /
Payments
Pet Sitter service
is not subject to cancellation or credit card
fees. Payment for Pet Sitter service is due
in full at the time of booking. Pet Sitter
reserves the right to refuse or cancel
service if payment is not settled at the time
of booking or by other agreed arrangement.
Departure /
Return Dates
When once daily
calls are booked with departure date and or
return date being the same date as pet care
calls are required an extra fee called
"Time Priority" is applied to
these visits as they are scheduled to be done
in a PM (1st call) or AM (final call) time
slot. The "Time Priority" service
is also available to clients who wish pets to
be called upon once a day in either an AM or
PM time slot for the entire booked period.
The "Time Priority" fee does not
apply to bookings where twice daily calls are
booked consecutively which includes when one
call is booked to start pet care PM or one
call is booked to end AM.
Dog Poop
Scoop
Pet Sitter offers a
dog poop scooping service and if booked is
automatically done once every day commencing
on the first date that Pet Sitter is booked
to visit. Please complete a poop scoop before
departure.
Pre - Set up
Visits
We do not require or
offer pre - set up visits. We are a full time
company that has a number of experienced pet
sitters on staff who may call to a premises
during a booked pet sitting period. In the
event that we have a question while attending
to a premises, we always contact pet owners
for advice immediately.
Plant
Watering
The focus of our
business is to provide high quality pet care.
In order to successfully achieve this we are
unable to spend time watering plants, which
ultimately absorbs valuable time that we feel
would be better spent with the pets. We are
also not qualified horticulturalists and do
not wish to cause plant death by over or
under watering. Please ask a neighbor, family
or friends to help out.
E-mail
Addresses
E-mail addresses
submitted on the Pet Owner Agreement page are
added to our mail list so that pet owners can
be kept up to date with holiday reminders and
updates to Pet Sitter services. E-mail
addresses are kept confidential and will
never be sold or given to any third party.
Should you not wish your E-mail address to be
added to the list please send us an E-mail request.
Please see
below for ways you can contribute to make
your home pet care run smoothly and achieve a
good result
Please leave all pet
food and dog leads on kitchen bench or
outside table. Please leave a note indicating
where the food is located if left elsewhere.
Please leave more
than enough food to last for the entire
period.
Please leave a can
opener, spoon or fork out with pet food.
Please leave enough
kitty litter for a full change every second
day for conventional litter, every five days
for clumping type litter and two weeks for
crystal type litter.
Please leave kitty
litter scoops, spare litter and plastic bags
beside litter tray.
